Total Construction Area: Total Gross Floor Area: 18,676.57 m² (approx. 201,032.93 sq ft)

Project Overview:

Xiamen Metro Line 6 starts at Lindai West Station and connects to the Zhangzhou (Jiaomei) extension, with a total length of approximately 49.8 kilometers (approx. 30.9 miles). Bimodeling applied BIM technology to enhance design accuracy, optimize production and construction processes, and significantly improve the efficiency of prefabricated building design and implementation through digital modeling, visual representation, and collaborative workflows.

Project Details:

Bimodeling reviewed the construction drawings to identify and resolve omissions, thereby improving overall drawing quality. A custom Dynamo script was used to verify beam and clear height data, while Revit’s color-coded views were leveraged to generate clear height analysis diagrams. After cross-disciplinary coordination and review, the Bimodeling team conducted 3D MEP integration in Revit and produced 2D composite pipeline layouts, hanger/support diagrams, embedded component plans, and discipline-specific breakdown drawings. For complex nodes, 3D animations and visual presentations were created to support visualized coordination, assisting the interior design team in advancing detailed design.

Magnitude of the Project:
Total Station Length: 379 m (approx. 1,243 ft)

Platform Width: 12 m (approx. 39.4 ft)
Station Width: 20.7 m (approx. 67.9 ft)
Total Gross Floor Area: 18,676.57 m² (approx. 201,032.93 sq ft)
